What an exciting (not) but necessary day. We got up, packed and got in the car for the trip to Darwin the top of the Stuart highway before we started to head South and turn right.
It was goodbye to Kakadu, which is a park that covers a very large area and hello to a major city again. We arrived at the Spirit Resort in Darwin, it was hot and the kids ran under the sprinkler to get wet and cool down. We then found the pool, yes the water was cold, and then sat back and relaxed for a while.
A quick trip to the supermarket was the highlight of the afternoon! Well we are on holidays!
It was a very uneventful day actually, but we booked Chels into the Doctor because the cough was getting worse and worse.
